Holger Olesen is a Vocalist, resonator guitar and bluegrass bass player from Birchdale, Minnesota. He tours with the Little Roy & Lizzy Show as their bass player. He currently works out of Johnson City, Tennessee. Where he also attends East Tennessee State University pursuing dual Degrees in Bluegrass, Country & Old-time Music and Engineering. He is available for hire as an studio musician, solo artist or with a band. In his native Minnesota he was a member of the award winning Minnesota band Porcupine Creek and in 2018 was a cofounder of the Tennessee based bluegrass band Continental Drive. He has worked with numerous other bands, is on four different PBS TV specials, collaborated with overseas artists, done a variety of hired studio recording work and has been part of numerous CD projects as a vocalist and resonator guitar and bass player. He was the 2013 Rob Ickes Reso Summit scholarship recipient.
